The performance requirements for the lithium battery in electric boats are relatively high. In addition, it is sensitive to the weight of the battery. Therefore, the battery used in general is a high-performance flexible polymer lithium battery.

The constant speed stable electric boat does not have high requirements for battery discharge, as long as it can meet the application under certain working or entertainment conditions. Of course, it also pays more attention to the weight of the battery, so it can use ordinary flexible lithium batteries.

That is to say, the lithium battery of the electric boat used in the non manned model electric boat is only the lithium battery of the soft package type. As for the steel 18650 lithium battery or the square aluminum shell lithium battery, they are too heavy to use.

The battery used in the manned practical electric boat is a power type, and the lithium battery used in the electric boat is a lithium battery pack composed of relatively large single batteries. Of course, like the model electric boat, the larger the battery capacity and the lighter the weight, the better. Therefore, it is better to choose a soft package lithium battery.
However, there are several types of soft package lithium batteries. Generally speaking, they are ordinary soft package polymer lithium batteries, soft package high rate polymer lithium batteries, soft package lithium iron phosphate batteries, soft package high rate lithium iron phosphate batteries, etc. Of course, they also include normal temperature lithium batteries for normal temperature applications and low temperature lithium batteries for low temperature applications.
